This announcement is for HT Knit Club. Due to gr. 8 tours, we were not able to do our weekly Wednesday meeting, so we will be meeting today at lunch. Hope to see everybody there.

Attention students who ordered health care hoodies. This is the last reminder on announcements. If you have not yet picked up your health care hoodie, please pick it up today at the end of period 2 or at the beginning of lunch in room 246. This is also a reminder that the Health Care Club is meeting today with our public health nurse to discuss our next steps for our healthy schools grant this year. Please bring your lunch to Room 246 today for this important meeting. New members are always welcome! Any questions- please see Mrs. Bouw.

Titans, this year we are launching a new reading experience at HT. It’s a new and improved book club, and it’s called Trinity Page-Turners. Throughout the year we will be reading TWO books together. As part of the Page-Turners, you will receive your own copy of each book (to keep!) and a reading kit, with bookmarks and highlighters. You will also get to attend author visits for both books, as well as other special events throughout the year. Our first order of business is to pick the books. We will meet next Wednesday November 11th, at lunch in the library to get started. See Ms. McColeman for more info on book choices and look for updates on our Instagram account.

Attention boys interested in trying out for the Boys Varsity Hockey Team. Please sign up on the list posted outside the Phys-ed office. The first tryout will be held next week on Tuesday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at Talbot Gardens. Any questions or concerns, contact Mr. VanParys, Mr. Lichty or Mr. Martinow.

The Junior Girls Volleyball tryout dates have been set!
Our first tryout will be Tuesday, November 10 – 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Second tryout will be Thursday, November 12 – 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. both in the Big Gym
If you have not already done so, please sign up outside Mrs. McGivern’s room 212 and pick up a permission form. Completed permission forms should be submitted to Mrs. McGivern before the first tryout, or brought with you on Tuesday morning. We are excited to see the talent, effort, and enthusiasm you bring to the court. Good luck, and we look forward to seeing everyone at tryouts!

Attention, HT Artists and Creators! Our November “BEYOND THE DOOR” Creative Scene Challenge is well underway, and we encourage all students to participate! Entries are welcome in all creative categories, including visual arts, poetry, music, drama, film, and fibre arts. Let your imagination take you beyond the ordinary and show us your creativity! The winning entry will receive a $100 Amazon gift card, so be sure to submit your work by November 30th!

Have an awesome day Titans!
