Mission Statement

Holy Trinity Catholic High School is a Christ-centered community rooted in:

  • Celebrating the dignity and worth of each member
  • Recognizing Christ and His message in our daily journey
  • Nurturing the ministry of presence

Chaplaincy: Creating an Inclusive Catholic School Community

“For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us.”

 (St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans 12:4-6)

This passage is about using the gifts, abilities and opportunities that God has given us. We are all interconnected to one another in Christ and we are called to use our unique gifts to work together for the betterment of each other and our community. Christ loves each one of us! Diversity in unity goes together. We have unity in diversity in being the living Body of Christ.

Growing in Relationship

In everything we do we are growing in relationships – While at home, school, church, or work we are encountering people and growing in relationships. Some of us are better at this than others,
but ALL of us are invited to grow in relationships. The most rewarding, but often the most challenging relationship to grow in is the one the God who created us, his Son and the Holy Spirit.

We grow in relationship with this Holy Trinity through prayer. At school, we will pray each morning over the announcements, through liturgy, and even in our classrooms. The more often we pray and are surrounded by prayer, the easier it gets, but the greatest reward you’ll get out of prayer is coming to know God’s vast love for us. Once we know this, everything can change as we open ourselves up to becoming a people of great “joy, peac, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control” (Galatians 5:22-23).

The Holy Trinity by Andrei Rublev

Prayer to the Holy Trinity

May the love of the Father enfold us,
and the wisdom of the Son enlighten us,
the fire of the Spirit enflame us;
and may the blessing of triune God rest on us, and abide with us, now and evermore.
